The only way I know to do this is to use Eudora's (or Outlook Express's??? I've heard it has it) "redirect" feature - the remaining problem is the poster's name (that appears in the "from" field along with his/her actual email address) is changed from "Joe Schmoe" to "by way of Meg Moderator" (insert appropriate names here), though the actual email address stays the same (as does the subject; date, however, changes to the redirection date/time).
Smartlist seems to be seriously lacking in the moderation area compared with majordomo - which I, also just switched from. Some problems besides this one have also been recently posted here - specifically, the difficulty of telling whether a post came to you as needing approval or through the list, since the subject isn't changed as it is with Majordomo.

add my 'Approved: pwd' in first line of body and send it back to mailing-list and it would show up as if it was posted by the original sender, keeping the "Return-To: email', Date, etc. intact. Is there a similar feature in 'smartlist' ?
Currently, I am 'forwarding' all the users' posts to the mailing-list with 'Approved: pwd' as the first line in body but in the process, I am losing all the details of the original post. Also, forwarding the post after approval puts the quotes in every line. I have a feeling that there should be a better way of achieving this functionality in smartlist but not sure how.
