************************************************************* CALL FOR PAPERS ICCCN 2007: 16TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON COMPUTER COMMUNICATIONS AND NETWORKS http://sa1.sice.umkc.edu/icccn2007 August 13 - 16, 2007 Turtle Bay Resort, Honolulu, Hawaii, USA Sponsors*: Technical Co-Sponsorship by IEEE TCCC and Nokia (*pending)
Wireless Ad-hoc and Sensor Networks Track http://sa1.sice.umkc.edu/icccn2007/Sensor_CFP.htm Paper Submission Deadline: March 1, 2007
Overview: ========= Wireless Ad hoc and Sensor Networks have emerged as a new information paradigm based on the collaboration of a large number of self-organized communications and sensing nodes. These networks form the basis for many promising applications such as intelligent battlefields, hazard response systems, infrastructure protection, wildlife preservation, scientific exploration, assisted living and traffic management. This track aims at fostering interaction and collaboration of researchers and exchanging new ideas in various aspects of ad hoc and sensor network research. The technical program of this track will consist of selected regular papers. Authors are invited to submit original unpublished manuscripts that demonstrate current research on various aspects of ***wireless ad hoc and sensor networks***. Topics of interest include but are not limited to: - Network architecture and protocols - Programming models and languages - In-situ system modeling and enhancement - Lightweight operating systems - Localization and time synchronization - Media access control - Security and privacy - Failure resilience and fault isolation - Data storage and directory service - Scalable simulation techniques - Network planning and deployment - Post-deployment troubleshooting and maintenance - Applications and systems: real-world experiences and lessons
Submission of Manuscripts: Please follow the general submission requirements of ICCCN07.
