Dear TC6 members,
I updated to the best of my knowledge the Steering Committees
membership, which you find in attach. I would thank if the WG chairs
indicate me any changes to be done in this list and also complete the
Steering Committees still open.
Best regards

Dear all,
some of you have already given comments about our "good friend Steve".
I tried to find out his identity and tried to send him an *extremely*
unfriendly message but - as was to be expected - a mail delivery failure
occured saying:
<steve_2000(a)iname.com>: host mail-intake-1.iname.net[165.251.8.79] said: 553
<steve_2000(a)iname.com>... No such user
Our tc6 list is administrated by two people:
by our computer network administrator and by myself.
The administrator told me that he has already several times rejected
spamming messages (there are many of them).
Nevertheless we will now try to improve the system in a way
that *really* only the list members are allowed to send mails
(if the mail is longer than 40 K then it must be checked by one
of the responsible people otherwise it goes through without any
further check).
In principle this should have been the way to do out since the time when
the list was installed. Unfortunately and obviously there may be some leaks.
We will try to do our best to find them and to erase them.
Best regards
Otto

I was away for some days from my office and I couldn't check everything.
Thus apparently - once again - some "intruder" managed to misuse our TC6
list (what should be impossible, in principle, but!!!).
I'll try to find out what happened but first I will have to do some
other things. I apologize that you may have been disturbed by the
spam message but I may tell you an easy trick: There is a "delete" button
on your keyboard which can be used very conveniently and without too
much effort.
Best regards
Otto

p.s.: A comment to Harry: "it is always much easier to complain than to
try some strenuous actions".
Dear TC6 members,
I send you an updated version of our calendar of events. As you know
they are also regularly updated in the TC6 web page.
Could the WG chairs please send me the contact e-mails and URLs for the
events in which this information is missing? Thank you.
Best regards
