WGRS - Workshop on Network & Services Operations & Management
The 9th Brazilian Workshop on Network & Services Operations & Management (WGRS'2004) is an annual event that has been held since 1995. Previously known as WTMN (Workshop on Telecommunication Networks & Services Management), the event has been held either with the Brazilian Symposium on Computer Networks (SBRC) or with the Latin American Network Operations and Management Symposium (LANOMS).
The main goal of WGRS is to provide a Brazilian forum in the area of network management focused on the local audience, involving networking and telecommunication companies, academic institutions, service providers and equipment vendors.
This year, in its 9th edition, WGRS will take place in Gramado - Rio Grande do Sul, during the 22th SBRC http://www.sbrc2004.ufrgs.br. Besides the presentation of papers describing research results, on-going projects and practical experience reports, a number of invited keynotes from the industry is also planned.

Paper Submission
Submitted manuscripts must be written in either English, Spanish or Portuguese and the text should not exceed 8 pages, including the abstract, figures, diagrams, references, etc (very small figures, as well as bitmap format should be avoided). The page format should be A4 (29.7 x 21.0 cm), font size 12 pts, Times, lateral margins 2.5 cm, upper margin 3.0 cm, lower margin 2.5 cm, with 12pt Times fonts, single column page with no more than 45 lines. The paper can be prepared using one of the templates avaliable in the SBC webpage (<a href="http://www.sbc.org.br">http://www.sbc.org.br</a>). The paper must be submitted eletronically through EDAS (at <a href="http://soyuz.metropoa.tche.br/sbrc2004_wgrs"> http://soyuz.metropoa.tche.br/sbrc2004_wgrs</a>). The file must be necessarily in the postscript format (use generic postscript) or PDF (Portable Document Format).</p>
