Dear TC6 members,
I forward you the mail I received from ACM to know whether either of you is willing to give a tutorial in the referred conference or if you recommend anyone from the WGs.
Please state your position until mid of next week, in case of interest.
Best regards
Augusto
Dear Augusto,
I have interest to give a tutorial on "New Trends in Network and Service Management" on that conference, the same that has been accepted to be presented as a mini-course at IEEE ICT'2000 in Acapulco, Mexico, last May. Unfortunately I could not attend that conference and this talk was missed. They said "The tutorials will be in either Spanish or Portuguese", so I prefer Portuguese, of course !! Please let me know if this proposal has been taken or not.
Regards,
Neuman.

Augusto,
Greg Minshall here. I am tutorial chair for the SIGCOMM-sponsored "Workshop on Data Communications in Latin America and the Caribbean":
http://www.acm.org/sigcomm/sigcomm-la/index.html
Julio Escobar (the program chair for the workshop) informs me that IFIP TC6 might be willing to provide a tutorial speaker for the conference, and I am writing to ask you if this would be possible. If so, could you let me know the name of your proposed speaker, as well as the title of the talk and, if possible, some short abstract (to give a flavor of the talk)? The tutorials will be in either Spanish or Portuguese.
Thanks very much, Greg Minshall
