The objective of the International Conference on Systems Engineering and Modeling is to improve practices of Systems Engineering modeling by endowing this evolving discipline with missing theoretical and methodological underpinnings and improving the communication of complex systems' function, structure, and performance among stakeholders.
The third day, March 22, will be held at the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Management The program includes:
** Keynote Address: Professor Andrew Sage, George Mason University: "Systems of Systems Engineering, Architecting, and Integration" ** Two Parallel Sessions of research paper presentations: - Project Modeling Approaches - System Engineering Methods - Project Management Methods - System Engineering Modeling Languages ** Plenary Talk: Professor Edward Crawley, MIT: "The Challenge of architecting Complex Systems" ** Panel Discussion: "The Role of Modeling and Tools in Systems Engineering" Chair: Professor Bill Rouse, Georgia Tech Panelists: Profs. Edward Crawley, Andrew Sage, Boaz Golany, Dov Dori
** The following day, March 23, will include a tour of Akko (Acre) a UNESCO World Heritage Site
