The CIGRE´s Study Committee D2 (Information Systems and Telecomunications) is pleased to announce the International Colloquium of Telecommunications and Informatics for the Power Industry.
The main aim of this Colloquium is to provide an international forum for the different players of the power industry: public and private power utilities, product and service providers, consulting firms, research and technology development centers, universities, etc., to share their experiences in the use of new telecommunications and informatics technologies, to meet the demanding needs of power utilities, concerning: planning, operation, automation, maintenance, training, strategic management, etc.

Abstract and Paper Submission ***************************************
The abstracts written in PDF format must be 200 to 500 words. They should be submitted by e-mail simultaneously to the Chairman of CIGRE's Study Committee D2:

The abstracts should arrive at the above mentioned e-mail addresses no later than December 3, 2004. They should be accompanied by the following
information. For each author: name, position and company. Additionally, for the main author: full postal address, e-mail and fax.
The abstracts should explicitly indicate which of the Colloquium's three
main topics is addressed (1 to 3).
The notification of acceptance will be sent to the main author no later than January 31,2005. The full papers in PDF format should arrive at the
same e-mail addresses as the abstracts, no later than March 18, 2005. The full papers should be single-spaced, use letter-size paper and 10 point Times New Roman font.
The official languages of the event are English and Spanish. Both abstracts and full papers must be written in English. Participants will be allowed to present their papers in English or Spanish. Simultaneous translation English-Spanish-English will be available.
