Adhoc Now 2005, is the 4th in a series of annual international conferences addressing the challenges in ad hoc, mobile and wireless networking. The conference focusses on all aspects of networking from the link layer up, ranging from theoretical to experimental research. Adhoc Now has become a selective single-track conference. In 2004, Adhoc Now received 172 submissions and had an acceptance ratio of 17%.
Call for Demonstrations
Adhoc Now 2005 will include a demo session that shall provide a forum to those wishing to demonstrate and discuss with their peers research testbeds and implementation results, as well as industry demonstrations with high relevance to the event.
Demo proposals should describe the main contributions of the demo and the merits of the proposed ideas, citing preliminary results if available. Proposals should also include the equipment to be used, the demo layout and space required to set up the demo, and possible interactions (interoperability or interference) with other proposed demonstrations. Proposals will be evaluated mainly based on their potential to stimulate interesting discussions, exchange of ideas and promote collaborations.
Please submit your proposal in PDF format to the demo session chair, Antonio Garcia-Macias (jagm@cicese.mx). Proposals should not exceed three pages in length and should indicate the authors’ names, affilitation and contact information, as well as the designated corresponding author. The dates for proposals submission and acceptance notification are the same as for conference papers, and can be found at the conference website (http://fismat.umich.mx/adhoc-now/).
