Conference Theme: Interoperability: Policy to Performance MILCOM 2007 is soliciting both unclassified and classified papers (up to DoD Secret) relevant to communications and information processing system technologies and capabilities that address the 21st century challenges of National Defense, Homeland Security, Disaster Response and Interoperability. Industry, academic, and government organizations from both the U.S. and countries around the globe are invited and encouraged to participate.

During the abstract submission process, author and password information will need to be entered and a Paper ID# will be assigned. This Paper ID# and password will be used to upload papers. The abstract must NOT contain any ITAR-related, classified, or proprietary information. Abstracts will only be used to help define the sessions. The Unclassified Author’s Kit provides instructions to authors for preparation of the full and final manuscripts and the required forms. Full papers will be reviewed for acceptance only when all appropriate forms have been completed and received.
Classified Technical Program Submission Process: All persons wishing to attend and/or participate in the Classified Technical Program must, at a minimum, possess a current Secret personnel security clearance and be a U.S. citizen. Non-U.S. originated papers will NOT be accepted for the Classified Technical Program. All abstracts for the Classified Technical Program must be unclassified. Please submit a title and a brief unclassified abstract (up to 2000 characters) of your intended paper via email to: casto.milcom2007@harris.com. Each submission requires author name, affiliation, citizenship, address, phone and fax numbers, email address, and the applicable area. For papers with more than one author, indicate the point of contact. Do NOT use WAMS to submit abstracts, full papers, or the final papers for the Classified Technical Program. All papers for the Classified Technical Program must be prepared following the instructions and formatting guidelines in the Classified Author’s Kit.
Proposals for Tutorials and Panels: MILCOM 2007 solicits proposals for unclassified half-day tutorials, and unclassified and classified panels on state-of-the art communications, networking, and interoperability technologies. The tutorial proposals should include a brief outline of the tutorial, instructor biography, and relevant instructor experience. The Unclassified Tutorials Kit provides the applicable forms and the formatting guidelines for the tutorial material. Please forward your proposals to the MILCOM 2007 Tutorial Program Chair, Rich Folio, at folio.milcom2007@harris.com. Proposals for Panels: The proposals for panels should include a brief outline of the panel discussion topics, panel participants, and panel moderator along with their bios. A Panels Kit provides the information about the applicable forms and the guidelines for the preparation of the panel material.
