Dear all,
I owe you the result of the email validity test, i.e. time of reaction of TC6 delegates with respect to messages sent via the group address ifip-tc6@informatik.rwth-aachen.de.
The ?email validity test" message was sent out on 28 March, 08.56 h GMT + 1

Concerning the best reaction times: First of all I believed that I should eliminate the time zone differences. However, this would be somewhat unfair for the following reason:
- At the time of sending, there were office hours in Africa, Asia, and Europe. Thus everybody had a chance to react immediately. The only delegates who might have had problems with the working hours are those in Australia and in America. Harry Dutton from Australia came in very late, and for both Lyman Chapin and Arun Iyengar we might subtract 6 hours (which would bring them to ranks 2 and 8 in the abovementioned list); this subtraction again would not be totally fair with respect to those who got the message after being several hours in their office.
The prizes for the fast responses of delegates who were present in Saariselkae and who don't live neither in EUROland nor in other and EU countries nor in Switzerland have been given to: Ahmed (he was not really there but on the list of delegates who were supposed to attend, he hato cancel his participation at the latest minutes; anyway he was the fastest and he will receive the first prize - not a beer but a collection of EURO coins - in Portugal), Jan, Lyman, Arun, Tadao, and Sarolta.
Best regards Otto
