IPSN'06 (http://www.cs.virginia.edu/%7Eipsn06/) will be hosted by Vanderbilt University in Nashville on April 19-21 (less than three weeks from now!).
I want to encourage you to look at the excellent program put together by the IPSN'06 organizers and consider attending the conference. This year's program includes papers for the IPSN main track as well as the SPOTS track on platforms and tools. IPSN is unique in that it presents state-of-the-art work in theories, algorithms, as well as systems all under the same roof. Some of the highlights of this year's program:
- Keynotes on sensornet security, closing the loop of sensing/control, and distributed detectors in astro and high-energy physics by Adrian Perrig, Shankar Sastry, and Angela Olinto.
- A single-track presentation of 37 oral papers and 23 posters, selected from over 221 submissions, plus 15 demos!
- And the opportunity to mingle with other leading researchers in the field, in the wonderful environment of the Vanderbilt campus and Parthenon, across the street from the hotel.
Hope to see many of you there!
