IFIP TC-6 WG 6.8 and the Technical University of Gdańsk invite you to participate in the PWC'2000 conference, to be hosted by the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics. Following similar events at Prague, Frankfurt/M, Tokyo and Copenh Looking back on the evolution of digital telecommunications in the 70s, 80s and 90s, powered by the rapid growth of, respectively, WAN, LAN and B-ISDN systems, one sees the transition from computer-to-computer to person-to-person communications as a logic The conference will focus on technical aspects such as network architecture and control, wireless LAN, ATM and local loop, future mobile communication systems and supporting technologies.
