Guy, Otto and everyone else!
I need to apologise for the lack of minutes from the Paris meeting.
I have not forgotten them and my conscience IS troubling me. Unfortunately there have been a number of personal and domestic crises (that may be too strong a word but I can't think of a better one) and the minutes have taken been pushed down the priority list.
I am now going to be away from my office for a couple of weeks. That could mean that I will be out of contact until 5th February or it could mean that I actually have time to write the minutes! At the moment, I do not know but I will try to get the minutes done as soon as possible.
Apologies once again and I hope it's not too late to wish everybody a happy new year
Regards
Peter

Dear Peter,
Thanks for your message.
The problem I have is that I did not attend much of the last TC6 meeting in Paris (I was at the Autonomic Conference, and this the only meeting I missed since 1998), and I have no minutes.
I have to address many problems coming from all directions, without knowing anything.
Could someone (Otto?) write the minutes? I cannot chair TC6 without being aware of what has been decided in Paris. What are the open Action Points, etc. ?
Best regards, Guy

I have to aoplogize but I never took written notes during a meeting. Thus I could reproduce the minutes only from my memory - and this could be done by every other participant likewise. It happens also that due to the so-called "excellence initiative" in Germany I´m extremely overloaded for the moment being.
Best regards Otto
Dear Guy,
Perhaps this can help you to clarify the conclusions of the meeting in Paris
As far as the point 8 of the Meeting Agenda in Paris (Proposal for more activities in developing countries) I can inform you that we presented the conclusions of the special meeting about developing countries held in Santiago de Chile in August including the agreed proposal.
You can find this proposal in the minutes of this special meeting written by Wojciech Cellary. I attached you a copy.
As in Paris nobody disagreed with this I understand that it was accepted.
Best regards,
Ana
