Dear all,
since several of you have asked in the past about the dates and the locations of the next meetings I append the corresponding part of the meeting minutes 2005/2 (the delegates' questions were another proof for the observation that nobody reads any minutes ;-) ).
The locations in 2007 and 2008 are still for further discussion. However, a connection of the first meeting per year with the NetworkingXX conference is strongly recommended.
The meeting in Coimbra should be started Friday around noon and it should end Saturday evening.
Best regards Otto
-------------------------------------------------------------------- Future TC6 meetings
2006/1 To be held in Coimbra, Portugal, Friday 19th and Saturday 20th May.
2006/2 - Please note the change of location and date for meeting 2006/2 This was originally agreed to be held in Santiago, Chile, in association with the WCC. For a variety of reasons, it has been agreed that it would be better to hold the full Autumn TC6 meeting in Paris on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th September. There will be a special (one day) TC6 meeting in Santiago de Chile concerning developing country questions; probably on Friday, 25th August 2006.
2007/1 To be held in Atlanta, United States, dates to be confirmed.
2007/2 To be held in South Africa, location and dates to be confirmed.
2008/1 To be held in the United Kingdom in May, location and precise dates to be confirmed.
Dear Otto
I assume most of delegates has to travel on the 18th to Coimbra so that they are already installed on the 18th. This because of the train etc... Some delegegates can may be travel on the 19th.
Why cant we start the meeting early on the 19th?
I am asking because I have problems with return ticket on the 21th.
Best regards from Finn Arve..

Augusto proposed indeed to start the meeting on Friday, 19 May, in the morning. And to finish Saturday, 19, at noon. He will offer a short excursion on Saturday afternoon; many thanks for that!
I suggest that we follow this proposal.
