Dear Guy,
Let me remind you that we decided to go "open access" for the TC6 journal. As far as I know, Springer is not, and Guy Pujolle agreed that the Springer solution was not the best approach. There is no room for another classical high quality journal in networking. This is probably the reason why Guy P. and Harry P. did not react to Springer emails.
I don't understand things anymore: In Wroclaw Guy Pujolle was complaining that Springer did not support the initiative. Now Springer supports it (and has apparently supported it) - but we are still far from being satisfied. Are we crazy or what? Do we want a TC6 journal or not? Living with the "best approach" is a nice dream but sometimes it might be acceptable to accept the second best approach.
Best regards Otto
