Dear friends, As you know the TC6 is sponsoring the International Symposium on Telecommunications IST2001 to be held in Tehran (Iran) on September 1-3 this year. The organisers of this symposium have asked me as chairman of the TG6.9 on Development Countries to organise a Special Session on "Rural Communications, where there is no boundary".
