Med-Hoc-Net 2006 will include Poster/Demo sessions, whose aim will be to present and discuss works in progress, preliminary results of novel research, demos of new applications and techniques, and research testbeds. The scope of the Poster/Demo sessions is defined by the topics listed in the Call for Papers of the Workshop.
POSTERS: The Poster session will provide researchers with an excellent opportunity to obtain early feedback of their ongoing research. Posters presenting preliminary results of research on ad hoc networks are solicited. Poster descriptions of no more than 3 pages in length and in PDF format should be submitted to the Poster/Demo Co-Chairs before April 7th, 2006. Each poster will be allocated 3 pages in the conference proceedings. Submissions will be evaluated based not only on their technical contribution but also on their potential to stimulate interesting discussions exchange of ideas, and new collaborations.
DEMOS: The Demo session will allow researchers to showcase their prototypes to the research community. Technical demonstrations of ad hoc networks testbed implementations are solicited. Demo description of no more than 3 pages in length and in PDF format should be submitted to the Poster/Demo Co-Chairs before April 7th, 2006. The submission should describe the architecture of the system that will be shown, discuss the main technical challenges that have been addressed in building the prototype, and include any other kind of information that might be useful in the evaluation of the proposal. The submission should explicitly list and describe in sufficient detail any type of hardware equipment required to the organizers. Demonstrators are encouraged to bring and use their own equipment.
Poster/Demo acceptance notification will be sent by May 9th, 2006. For the Poster/Demo descriptions to be included in the Conference Proceedings, at least one of the authors must register to the conference by May 22nd, 2006.
