Hi,
I wondered whether it is possible to assign custom colors to the different types of irregular edges (e.g. valence 3 and valence 5 edges)?

Hi,
Of course you can assign the same color to the two vertices of some edge, then you can draw the edge via that color. For your case, I think you would like to assign different colors to vertices, since it is vertex that has different valences, not edges.

Hi,
Perhaps I should have provided some additional details — I'm using OpenFlipper to view hexahedral meshes (i.e. solid meshes consisting of 'cubes'). For these meshes, there is an option to highlight the irregular edges, that is, edges shared by a different number than 4 hexahedra. By default, valence 3 edges are highlighted in cyan and valence 5 edges are highlighted in magenta. I'd like to be able to assign custom colors to the different valencies. Thanks!
Pieter
