Dear Open Flipper Team
I get internal compiler errors when trying to build OpenFlipper in
Visual Studio. All errors are related to the same file:
SerializersT_impl.hh, line 61.
* OpenFlipper Version 5.1.0
* Qt 5.12.12
* MSVS 2022 Community
Thanks for the support and kind regards,
Susanne
When I tried to use the HoleFiller feature, Detect was fine, but when a check was selected and hit Fill selected, the program crashed. What are the possible reasons? How to use it normally, when the openFilpper version v4.1,

In V4.1 (Windows), panning the view by holding the middle mouse/scroll
wheel no longer works after double-clicking on a mesh to change the center
of rotation. Panning works before double-clicking. This is a regression
from V4.0 (Windows).
Thanks,
Steve
hi,
This mailing list is the support according to the contact page:
https://www.graphics.rwth-aachen.de/software/openflipper/contact/
although, I can't access the archive:
https://mailman.rwth-aachen.de/mailman/listinfo/openflipper
There's also a bug tracker:
https://graphics.rwth-aachen.de:9000/OpenFlipper-Free/OpenFlipper-Free/-/is…
but I don't see an option to sign up.

I'm trying to build openflipper with vs2019, using vs2017 toolset.
I'm using cmake 3.18.
I'm successfully creating .sln through cmake with:
mkdir build
cd build
%CMAKE_EXEC% ^
-DEIGEN3_INCLUDE_DIR:path="c:/prj-external-libs/eigen-eigen" ^
-DQT5_INSTALL_PATH:path="c:/Qt/online2/5.13.2/msvc2017_64/" ^
-Wno-dev -G"Visual Studio 16" -A"x64" -T v141 ..
When I build the project, uic isn't called and it can't find
auto-generated headers such as ui_pythonWidget.h. These headers aren't
generated.
I'm not too familiar with qt.
I can see that cmake creates a pre-build event that runs its autogen on,
e.g.,
c:\prj-external-libs\OpenFlipper\build\OpenFlipper\CoreApp\CMakeFiles\OpenFlipper_autogen.dir\AutogenInfo.json
It's supposed to scan the source files for including ui_*.h, and call
uic accordingly. Something fails here.
As a sanity check, I was able to build successfully a cmake-qt test project:

Hello,
I noticed the message "Could NOT find MeshIntegration (missing: MESH_INTEGRATION_INCLUDE_DIR)" in the output of the cmake file. I searched for such a package online and didn't find anything specific. Where can I find this package, and what does it do?
I still managed to install openflipper, however I can't get the viewport to display any mesh. Might the lack of the package cause this?
Thanks,

Hi,
I just tried compiling and running the OpenFlipper application from
Git, and I noticed in the about dialog that the license for
OpenFlipper is still identified as GNU Lesser General Public License.
I see the main copying file has been changed to BSD licensed - is the
about dialog a leftover, or are there still some portions of the
openflipper codebase (other than openvolumemesh) that are LGPL? Just
wanted to be sure which license(s) apply to which components.
Thanks,
CY
