Hello,
I'm new to the list and I recently started using smartlist.
I had no problems setting up my first list but after I set
up my second list I noticed that the subscribe.txt message
I uploaded for the second list has been dublicated into my
first list. When I reuploaded the subscribe.txt for the first
list it duplicated into the second one.
Does anyone know if there is a way I can have a seperate
subscribe.txt (and unsubscribe.txt) for each list.
Any info will be appreciated.

I want to set my list so that no message is sent to new subscribers.
I've looked through the FAQ and the Manual, and read all the items in the
various rc files, and can't find where to set this--I know it's most likely
right in front of me....

Hello,
This is my first post to this list. I hope I can get some help here.
Once in a while, I get returned transcripts which turn out to be just ISP
names.
The last one was banon-world.com showed on the subscribe list.
Is this some ISP hacking in to get thee names of my subscribers?
Does anyone have any ideas how these invalid email addresses get on the
subscribe list?
It happens every few months.
Thank you.

n.b.: sorry for reply out of the right thread, but i've seen your message
in the web archive of mailing list.
Trying to describe regular expressions for use with the archive
server, I just realized that arch_retrieve passes the regular
expression unquoted to egrep. This means that regular
expressions may not contain whitespace or shell meta characters.
Is this intentional, or just a flaw?
Hans-Albert
PS: Shell meta characters seem not to hurt ([], (), and | work
fine). How comes? Does flist unset IFS?

I am using Smartlist on my server and when I send email it is archived in the archive directory called "latest". I have set smartlist to archive the latest ten emails that I send to the list. However the latest email sent to the list keeps receiving a numeric name that continues to increase. How can I set up smartlist so that the numeric name for the latest ten emails sent to the list remain named 1 - 10?
Alan,
P.S. This is my second request concerning this question. If I missed someones answer then please forgive me and please repost answer. Tnx!
Is there any way to get smartlist to recognize requests (sent to the
correct request address) which are sent in a MIME message or formatted
text? Messages sent to my lists go Unprocessed if the body conatins an
HTML or richly formatted text.
