you can combine drawmodes. In the UI, rightclick, go to drawmodes, hold shift key and select a Face mode and wireframe.

If not, can I show edge colors in Hiddenline mode? EDGES_COLORED mode does not draw faces so it show the edges at rear that I do not need.
