I have take a look at OpenFlipper and would like to add a "material editor" (aka blender material editor).
Nice ( there is only a basic material editing when you right click on an object (in datacontrol or in the scene and select material), but that controls only color and some basic rendering.
I have see that you already have a 'diagram editor' control for the visual scripting interface.
I'm not sure what control you mean, the diagram editor gui?
Do you think that I can use the same 'framework' for this ?

No, its not normal. Have to take a look at the distributables. But we will also push out a new one in 3 to 4 weeks with a lot of updates.
For latest versions you should always use the svn version.
