in would like to invite all interested students to the workshop
Goethe, Oktoberfest and Sausages? Typical German?
on Monday 26th January 2009 at 5 p.m. to the Humboldt-House.
This workshop will be held in English and it´s about intercultural communication for incomings. You will learn more about Germany and the Germans.
Introduction: How do I cope with a cultural shock?
Main part: What is typical German? Some key words for being typical German may be: a direct and honest communication, plans and structures, closed-door policy, puncutality and complexity.
In this workshop cultural standards will be presented as a kind of orientation and you will find out how they were developed over the years.

einladen.
Dieser Vortrag richtet sich an internationale Studierende, die zum Studium nach Deutschland gekommen sind und mehr über ihr Gastland und den Umgang mit den deutschen Studierenden erfahren möchten. Der Workshop wird in Englisch gehalten.
