invite all interested students to the workshop
Goethe, Oktoberfest and Sausages? Typical
German?
on Monday 26th January 2009 at 5 p.m. to the
Humboldt-House.
This
workshop will be held in English and it´s about intercultural
communication for incomings.
You will
learn more about Germany and the Germans.
Introduction: How do I cope with a
cultural shock?
Main part: What is typical German?
Some key words for being typical German may be: a direct and honest
communication, plans and structures,
closed-door policy, puncutality and
complexity.
In this
workshop cultural standards will be presented as a kind of orientation and you
will find out how they were developed over the years.
