The Stammtisch (regulars' table) will meet next Tuesday, May 3, starting at 18:30, as usual on the first Tuesday of the month. However, there is a new location: Cafe Kittel (Pontstrasse 39)! Check them out on the Web:

Aachen English Book Club:
We are a small group of book lovers who meet once a month on a Tuesday
morning to drink coffee, eat cake, chat....... Oh, and of course, to
discuss a book! We read a wide variety of books, including the Booker
Prize winner and one 'classic' during the year. Our discussions are

RE: DOCBUDDY
The DocBuddy program is off to a fresh start with the beginning of the new semester! In case you haven't heard about it, this program matches new international PhD students and post-docs with locals who have been in Aachen for a while. Pairs of buddies (locals) and mentees (new people) gain experience with new cultures, languages and even research questions while having the opportunity to network with new contacts through DocBuddy events.
