A proposal for a quirky feature film about a frustrated husband who is
trying to get rid of his wife so he can have a mackerel free life. But
not all Jarvis's plans go smoothly...
---------------------------------------------------------
This screenplay is filled with thrills, comedy, sex, murder and science
fiction. It all takes place in downtown TORT a small community somewhere
in rural England. A sharp, seductive, voracious con artist SOPHIE LOU
needs little help before targeting the small community, but she suddenly
goes awry. A middle aged, bald, squatty, angry husband JARVIS LOOMY, who
works as a bellhop, finds comfort in Sophie's arms but can't seem to get
it right when trying to murder his wife ETHEL LOOMY, a prim looking
school teacher with fuming mackerel breath. Jarvis Loomy suddenly goes
to extremes and pleads the assistance of HENRY WOLF a greasy,
squinty-eyed and sometimes forgetful terrorist, with a clinging ulcer
that suddenly turns obscene. In the midst of the police search for the
terrorist, a frustrated husband, scheming murder, and a con artist that
has sexually run amok, a new café opens in Tort called Braidys, owned by
undercover aliens. With the help of an unlikely assistant a disturbing
yet tasty courtesy item called a Twist is on the menu. It is
distributed, reeking havoc on the community, altering personalities that
are already over the edge.
