Dear colleagues,
in my previous mail I had the right date, but wrong day. Our Workshops
32a and 32b are scheduled for May 30, which is Tuesday, not Wed. as I
wrote by mistake.
Best regards,
Chris

Dear Dr. van Albada,
I do not have a problem with incorporating a paper from the parameter
estimation workshop if there is a nontrivial overlap with the focus of
our workshop. It should be added to what I call session 1 below. Also,
in my previous email, I had forgotten Giering as the last contributing
author in Session 2, so the complete lineup is:
Session 1 (more application-oriented): Bartlett, Kim, Kowarz, Sandu,
potential par. est. paper
Session 2 (more tool-oriented): Kharche, Hascoet, Strout, Kreaseck, Giering
Best regards,
Chris Bischof
p.s. I will be off to some skiing hut in Switzerland tomorrow night till
the end of next week. In case further questions arise, please mail your
questions to org-ad-workshop(a)lists.rwth-aachen.de and one of my
co-organizers will be sure to take care of it.

Dear Dr. van Albada,
please group the talks of the Workshop on Automatic Differentiation into
two sessions as follows:
Session 1 (more application-oriented): Bartlett, Kim, Kowarz, Sandu
Session 2 (more tool-oriented): Kharche, Hascoet, Strout, Kreaseck
In this context, I would also like to remind you that a non-conflict of
those sessions with
the Workshop "Advances in Parameter Estimation in Computational Science "
http://www.lanl.gov/orgs/ees/iccs/
would be a good thing, as I expect that quite a few attendees of our
workshop (myself included) would like to attend this workshop as well.

Folks, any objection to the following suggestion:
Session 1 (more apps-oriented): Bartlett, Kim, Kowarz, Sandu
Session 2 (more tool-oriented): Kharche, Hascoet, Strout, Kreaseck, Giering
I would be happy to also entertain alternative arrangements, but I would
like to send van Albada an answer tomorrow eve. I was on travel in the
States and so this message sort of fell under the rug. I did send van
Albanda a message to that effect so he knows we are not ignoring him.
Best regards,
Chris

Subject: Schedule of presentations for your workshop in ICCS 2006
Date: Sun, 05 Mar 2006 20:26:15 +0100
From: Dick van Albada <dick(a)science.uva.nl>
To: bischof(a)sc.rwth-aachen.de
Dear Prof Bishof,
Could you send me a schedule for the order of the presentations in your
workshop?
You can assume two standard 100 minute, 5 paper / 10 short paper sessions.
We would like to have that to get the papers in the proceedings in the
same order as in the workshop.
Also, please, remember to register for the conference, mentioning your
fee waiver.
Regards,
Dick van Albada

Hello all,
I would like to point out to you that early registration for ICCS06 ends
the end of this month and then the fees go up by 50 pounds. See
http://www.iccs2006.rdg.ac.uk/registration.html for details.

Dear Authors,
the conference organizers stipulate that authors of accepted papers
register for the meeting by March 15 in order for the papers to appear
in the proceedings. So if you have not registered yet, please make sure
that you or a co-author do so in the next few days in order to make sure
that your paper is included in the proceedings.
Looking forward to seeing you all at the meeting!
- Chris Bischof

Hi,
Now all final versions including all fixes to the
LNCS style issues found by Shaun are uploaded.
I removed all old files. I will send a confirmation
mail to all corresponding authors.
As far as I am concerned I think I am done.
Have a nice weekend,
jean

Final version ready - Kreasack should upload to server.
I will monitor my email over the weekend to see if the Hunke/Kim paper
gets updated.

dangerous content by the Cranfield MailScanner, and is

This is the situation as I see it.
1) Hascoet - paper needs minor formatting changes, cannot establish
contact with the author. Co-author contacted. Source files are present
I could make the changes in 20 mins.
2) Kowarz - COMPLETE
3) Kharche - COMPLETE
4) Giering/Kaminski - Has this paper been approved by Chris? Latest
version on web-site needs reformatting (wrong style file) and a couple
of minor edits. JUST been contacted by Kaminski who says they are
working on it.
5) Bartlet - COMPLETE
6) Strout - COMPLETE
7) Hunke/Kim - Chris has approved technical content. I have been sent
pdf (but not source) of "minor changes". I have asked Kim to make
several formatting changes and advised him to improve the English in
places (some sentences don't make sense!). Cannot establish contact
with Kim and have emailed co-authors.
8) Kreasack - version on web of 17th is nearly OK, I've edited for minor
formatting and asked Kreasack/Hovland to approve.
9) Sandhu - COMPLETE
I'm most worried about the Hunke/Kim paper since we don't even have the
latest source and I've yet to establish contact.
I'm unable to establish whether the Giering paper has been technically
approved - Chris can you please clarify this please.
I can arrange to be online periodically over the weekend and I can even
finalise the Hascoet paper (I don't like doing this but its minor
capitalisation and punctuation).
