IWAN 2002 Poster Session Call for Posters
(Apologies if you receive duplicates of this message)
This year, the IWAN 2002 conference will sponsor a session aimed at
showcasing interesting "work-in-progress" of persons attending the
conference. The goal of the poster session is to present current research
and provide an opportunity for informal discussion of the work with the
authors at the conference venue. Topics of interest are the same as the
research topics in the IWAN 2002 conference Call for Papers. Information
about IWAN 2002 may be found at http://www.iwan2002.org
Poster proposals should be emailed to iwan2002(a)iwan2002.org no later than
November 4, 2002, 17:00 CET. This is a final date; no extensions will be
granted.
Posters will be reviewed by the IWAN 2002 TPC Co-Chairs; the authors of
accepted posters will be notified by November 11 and the final version of an
abstract and the poster will be due on November 18. At the conference,
posters must be presented by one of the authors. Authors of accepted papers
must not submit a poster of the work they present in the conference.
The complete call for posters may be found on
http://www.iwan2002.org/iwan_call_posters.html; detailed instructions for
the preparation of accepted posters are available under
http://www.iwan2002.org/iwan_instructions_posters.html.

Dear TC6 members,
Please feel free to contact me after your arrival if you need some help.
My telephone numbers are the following:
Business: 21.3100233
Home: 21.4104673
Mobile: 96.6024526
Best regards

Dear TC6 members,
The best way to reach the Melia hotel from the Lisbon airport is by taxi.
The hotel is located in "Parque das Nacoes", as described in the invitation
letter, and is not very far from the airport. Actually the airport in Lisbon
is situated within the city.
The taxi ride should cost the maximum of 15 Euro including luggage
transportation. This was the price indicated to me by the hotel itself.
The meeting will start on Saturday at 9.00 am at the Hotel Melia. Let me
remind you that on Saturday evening we will have the TC6 30th anniversary
dinner and on Sunday afternoon we will have a guided tour of Lisbon,
starting at 3.00 pm. The meeting is exceptionally shortened to Saturday
morning and early afternoon and Sunday morning, due to our special
celebration.
I look forward to meeting all of you in Lisbon
Augusto Casaca
