Bei unseren EA Workout Treffen steht die eigene Produktivität und Auseinandersetzung mit dem Effektiven Altruismus im Mittelpunkt.
Wir treffen uns am Mittwoch, 27.11., im C.A.R.L. Hörsaalzentrum im Seminarraum S08, von 18:30 bis 21:00
Ihr wollt euch über Philosophie unterhalten? Oder über einen interessanten Artikel oder ein spannendes Buch reden? Diesen Blogpost lesen, den ihr schon immer mal lesen wolltet aber keine Zeit hattet? Vielleicht wollt ihr auch in eurer persönlichen Entwicklung weiterkommen und eure Projekte in einer angenehmen Umgebung voranbringen. So oder so seid ihr bei unseren Treffen gut aufgehoben.
Außerdem werden wir ein Seminar mit dem Titel "Ethics and the Far-Future case in EA" anbieten:
'This is the first session of a seminar which explores the foundations and methods of Effective Altruism (EA). It will be in English. EA wants to achieve the most good. But what is "good"? We want to look at the basics of ethical theories and how EA applies to different moral theories. We also want to widen our focus and look at the far-future and which moral implications it has on our actions today. If we have time, we can look at additional subjects such as the moral value of information, critical considerations and population ethics.'
Die Treffen sind offen für alle. Also auch wenn ihr noch nie vom Effektiven Altruismus gehört habt könnt ihr gerne vorbeischauen!

At our EA workout meetings, the focus is on your personal productivity engagement with Effective Altruism.
We meet on Wednesday, November 27th, in the C.A.R.L. lecture center in room S08, from 6:30pm to 9pm.
You want to discuss Philosophy or chat about an interesting article or book? Read that blog post you always wanted to read? Maybe you want to work on your self-development and work on your projects in a nice environment. In any case, you're a fit for our meetings.
Also, you will have to attend a seminar with the title "Ethics and the Far-Future case in EA":
