Dream Entertainment Special Announement
Cannes 2002
We are proud to announce in Pre-Production (commencing production Summer 2002) the horror ride:
MONSTER MAN
It's "Duel" meets "Jeepers Creepers"!
Please note, we have moved to a
NEW MONSTROUS STAND!
Riviera, Stand J1/K2
Tel: (0)4-9299-8843
*Our complete line-up and screening schedule to follow shortly.*
"On this highway, the road kill is human."
Monster trucks Weve all seen them: Gigantic wheels, Carriages of steel, Tons of horse power, Crushing anything that stands in their way Hell on wheels.
But on the desolate I-55, there is one monster truck that gives new meaning to that name. Its not just the truck that is monstrous. So is the driver.
On this highway, the road kill is human.
Adam and Harley are two college buds driving cross country. The trouble starts at a roadside diner where a monster truck exhibition plays on the TV. Harley, the loudmouth of the two, makes fun of not only the rednecks driving the monster trucks on television, but the pea brains that actually enjoy watching this automotive insanity.
Back on the road, a huge black monster truck rides up the ass of Adams Chevy and nearly forces them off the road. Coincedence or bad luck. Who knows, but its scary and weird.
Trouble escalates from there. Finding road kill in their beds is half as bad as witnessing a murder executed by the scar-faced occupants of the monster truck. To complicate matters, there is the beautiful but mysterious hitchhiker, Eliza, who is discovered sleeping in the backseat of their Chevy.
The trio are chased by the monster men in the monster truck. Their car destroyed, they end up on foot in the backwoods in the middle of nowhere. When Eliza is abducted by the monster men, Adam finally gains the courage he has always lacked and decides to rescue her. When he and Harley enter the ramshackle house where she is being held, they become trapped by an unimaginable horror.
