Dear Dr. van Albada, I do not have a problem with incorporating a paper from the parameter estimation workshop if there is a nontrivial overlap with the focus of our workshop. It should be added to what I call session 1 below. Also, in my previous email, I had forgotten Giering as the last contributing author in Session 2, so the complete lineup is: Session 1 (more application-oriented): Bartlett, Kim, Kowarz, Sandu, potential par. est. paper Session 2 (more tool-oriented): Kharche, Hascoet, Strout, Kreaseck, Giering Best regards, Chris Bischof p.s. Dear Dr. van Albada, please group the talks of the Workshop on Automatic Differentiation into two sessions as follows: Session 1 (more application-oriented): Bartlett, Kim, Kowarz, Sandu Session 2 (more tool-oriented): Kharche, Hascoet, Strout, Kreaseck In this context, I would also like to remind you that a non-conflict of those sessions with the Workshop "Advances in Parameter Estimation in Computational Science " http://www.lanl.gov/orgs/ees/iccs/ would be a good thing, as I expect that quite a few attendees of our workshop (myself included) would like to attend this workshop as well. Folks, any objection to the following suggestion: Session 1 (more apps-oriented): Bartlett, Kim, Kowarz, Sandu Session 2 (more tool-oriented): Kharche, Hascoet, Strout, Kreaseck, Giering I would be happy to also entertain alternative arrangements, but I would like to send van Albada an answer tomorrow eve. I was on travel in the States and so this message sort of fell under the rug. I did send van Albanda a message to that effect so he knows we are not ignoring him. Dear Authors, the conference organizers stipulate that authors of accepted papers register for the meeting by March 15 in order for the papers to appear in the proceedings. So if you have not registered yet, please make sure that you or a co-author do so in the next few days in order to make sure that your paper is included in the proceedings.
