Liebe Beschäftigte,

Rektorat und Krisenstab haben nochmals die aktuelle pandemische Situation bewertet und möchten auf folgende Maßnahmen und Entwicklungen hinweisen:

Angebot und Nutzung von Selbsttests

Beschäftigten, die in Präsenz arbeiten, ist auch weiterhin ein Selbsttest pro Woche anzubieten. Da das Land zwischenzeitlich die Übernahme der Finanzierung dieser Tests eingestellt hat, ist eine Kostenbeteiligung der Hochschuleinrichtungen notwendig. Die Selbsttest stehen ab sofort für 80 Cent pro Stück im RWTH Kaufhaus für alle Hochschuleinrichtungen zum Kauf zur Verfügung. Die Zentrale wird die Differenzbeträge (aktuell ca. 1 Euro) zum jeweiligen Einkaufspreis der Tests finanzieren.

Aktion „Wir tragen weiter Maske“

Rektorat und Krisenstab unterstützen weiterhin nachdrücklich die Aktion „Wir tragen weiter Maske“ (siehe auch: https://www.rwth-aachen.de/go/id/ujbed)! Mit der aktiven Teilnahme an der Aktion helfen wir alle, das Infektionsgeschehen zumindest zu bremsen.

Arbeiten an heißen Tagen

Die Geschäftsführung des Krisenstabs erreichen aktuell auch Anfragen, wie im Arbeitsleben mit der aktuellen Hitzeperiode umzugehen ist. Die Stabsstelle für Arbeits- und Strahlenschutz hat hierzu ein Merkblatt veröffentlicht, welches Sie unter https://www9.rwth-aachen.de/global/show_document.asp?id=aaaaaaaaaafgzty finden. Bei allen Fragen rund um dieses Thema, aber natürlich auch im Zusammenhang mit Fragen des Infektionsschutzes am Arbeitsplatz, wenden Sie sich gerne an die Stabsstelle.

Dear Employees,

The Rectorate and the Crisis Management Team have once again assessed the current pandemic situation and would like to inform you about the following measures and developments:

Provision of and use of self-testing kits

Employees who work on site must continue to be offered one self-test per week. Since the federal state has now stopped providing for the financing of these tests, the University institutions must pay some of the costs for them. The self-tests are now available for purchase at 80 cents each in the RWTH Shop for all University institutions. The Central University Administration will provide the difference (currently approx. 1 Euro) for the purchase price of the tests.

“We Are Still Wearing Our Masks” campaign

The Rectorate and the Crisis Management Team continue to strongly support the "We Are Still Wearing Our Masks" campaign (see also: https://www.rwth-aachen.de/go/id/ujbed/lidx/1)! By actively participating in this campaign, we can all do our bit to at least slow down the spread of infection.

Working on hot days

Those in charge of the Crisis Management Team are currently receiving inquiries about how to deal with the current hot weather at work. The Staff Unit for Occupational and Radiation Protection has published a fact sheet on this subject, which you can find at https://www9.rwth-aachen.de/global/show_document.asp?id=aaaaaaaaaafgzty. If you have any questions on this topic, and of course in connection with issues of infection control in the workplace, please do not hesitate to contact the Staff Unit.
