So essentially our decisions are recommendations. Shouldn't we warn the
accepted authors of this.

Dear Prof. van Albada,
Of the 9 papers accepted, eight are in our view acceptable with small
modifications, one paper needs a substantial rewrite. We have informed
the authors of our decision, and asked them to submit a revised version
by Febr. 7, in order to make sure that the authors take the suggestions
of the referees into account.
With best regards,

Dear Prof Bischof,
I was happy to notice on your workshop management page that you
have already completed your reviews. The quality of the reviews looks
very good in general, although I noticed one or two strongly differing
opinions here and there.
I saw that you have marked 9 out of 15 papers as "invited", but
do not know if you have already informed the authors about the results.
If not, please do wait until the end of this week. We'll be discussing
the review results with the scientific organising committee on Thursday
and Friday, and because of the sheer size of the conference, we may have
to ask to use a slightly stricter cut.
By the way, you marked the accepted papers as invited - please
use "oral" or, where applicable, "poster".
Kind regards,
Dick van Albada

I don't know about how we get resubmissions in. I'll try to
"resubmit" the Kharche-Forth paper and see what happens.

Dear fellow organizers,
I would like to schedule times for our next telco's to
discuss the revised papers.
In light of the deadline, I suggest that we already get
together on February 7. I am out of town during the day, but can be back
by 5pm my time. Would one of you be able to initiate the conference
instead of me, then I could join from home, which would be more
convenient for me.
As a backup (or second date, for the late comers), I
would suggest Febr. 8 after 4pm my time.
In the hope that some papers may come in before, I would
encourage you to look at revised versions as soon as possible and if in
doubt, send the paper off again for another review. If I have not
received revised versions of the papers that I am responsible for, I
will remind the authors again by February 1.
By the way, one thing that is not clear to me is how we
get the revised papers into the system. Do we delete the old versions
and then put the new one in (I presume we can do this by again
overriding the conference settings). If you are as unclear about this as
me, then I will ask the conference organizers.
Cheers,
Chris

Dear Mike,
On behalf of the organizing committee I regret to inform you that the
paper you submitted has not been selected for inclusion into the AD
workshop at ICCS 2006.
You can see the reviews online via the link to the page you submitted
your paper to. All reviewers agree on the assessment that this work is
likely to be useful but that its usefulness it not substantiated by the
results presented.
So in this context I would like to mention that on Friday after ICCS
there will be a one-day AD workshop in Oxford, which would provide a
forum where you could present more recent results in an informal setting.
With best regards,
Chris

Hi,
Here is my list of accepts and who contacts the authors
3 hascoet -> utke
5 Kowarz -> utke
6 Kharche -> bischof (subject to rewrite)
7 Giering -> bischof
9 Bartlett -> utke
10 Strout -> naumann
11 Hunke -> bischof
13 Kreaseck -> utke
14 Sandu -> forth
Here is the list of rejects and who contacts the authors
1 Zubov -> forth
2 evtushenko -> naumann
4 naumann -> well ... who will dare to tell him?
8 buecker -> forth (but I still think this might make a poster)
12 bhowmick -> naumann
15 fagan -> bischof
The final deadline set by the conference for submitting the camera ready
papers is Feb/10.
I suppose if we want to have minimal verification on the reviews we need
to get the
revised versions with authors comments to the reviews by say Feb/7 ?
Any other suggestions re. that date?

Mike,
I see that as of this moment there is no review for the ICCS papers
assigned to you yet.
This is a reminder that the due date for the reviews is today.
Because we split up responsibility for tracking reviews by paper
(and I am dealing with one of the 3 papers assigned to you) you may have
gotten more reminders
regarding the other 2 papers.
In any case, we hope to get your input.
Thanks,
jean
