PWC2002
provides an international platform for prominent researchers and industry
experts around the world to promote, share and discuss various issues and
developmentsin the Mobile and Wireless Communications arena.
Over 60
papers were received for a single-track conference with a keynote and three
invited speeches and 37 papers were accepted. They will be presented in 10
pertinent technical sessions namely Power Control/MIMO Receiver Algorithms;
Ad-Hoc Networking; Personal Wireless Communications; Buffer Control/Receiver;
Satellites/High Altitude Platforms Station; QoS; UMTS/Wireless LANs; Multiple
Access Techniques; CDMA and Mobility. There will also be a panel session on
Data Applications for PWC: >From Technology Driven to Demand Oriented
Market Strategies.
Four tutorials have also been planned as
follows:
Tutorial 1: Pervasive Networking: Architecture and Protocols
Tutorial 2: Mobile and Wireless Internet - Protocols and Satellites-based
Architectures
Tutorial 3: QoS in the Next Generation of Wireless Networks
Tutorial 4: Mobile Ad Hoc Networking - Issues and New Challenges
