Dear all,
I've just learned that Koos has resigned from his position as
South African delegate in TC6.
The South African society has nominated Pieter Kritzinger. I know
Pieter as a WG6.1 representative and have already welcomed him in
TC6.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Koos for his long term
involvement in TC6 (in fact he was already there in 1998 when I joined
as WG6.1 chair and I don't know when he actually joined TC6). I hope
we will all meet him again at our TC6 meeting in South Africa in
2008.

we could not meet at the IFIP Council meeting in London last week -
I however did welcome you in your absence!
Again,
welcome as the new Chairperson of TC 6. I trust you will have a very
enjoyable and productive period as Chair.
In SA we
have accepted the resignation of Koos Koen, our long standing
representative on TC 6, and have appointed Prof Pieter Kritzinger as
the new representative. I trust that TC 6 will be happy to officially
accept Pieter as our national representative from
SA.
