Call for Workshop Proposals for MobiQuitous 2006

Building on the success of the last two years, the 3rd Annual International Conference on Mobile and Ubiquitous Systems (MobiQuitous 2006) will be held on July 17 – 21, 2006 in San Jose, California. This is an exciting forum for researchers and practitioners working in the areas of mobile and ubiquitous systems, services, and applications. Areas addressed by the conference include applications, service-oriented computing, middleware, mobile computing and networking, agents, knowledge management and databases. In conjunction with the main conference, four one-day workshops will be held on July 17 and 21. Please visit www.mobiquitous.org for details.

WHAT TO SUBMIT: We solicit proposals for the one-day workshops on new and emerging topics in mobile and ubiquitous computing and systems, infrastructure, and services. An ideal proposal would focus on a specific theme, be of current interest, and be able to attract a number of high quality submissions. The workshop proposal should be a maximum of 2 pages long and should clearly identify the theme, the scope, and specific topic areas of interest. The proposal should also suggest potential program chairs and program committee members.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINE: Please send workshop proposals by December 16, 2005 to both the General Co-Chair, Tom LaPorta (tlp@cse.psu.edu) and the Workshop Chair, Kin Leung (kin.leung@imperial.ac.uk). We look forward to your workshop proposals.
