Dear all,
many thanks for the new interpretation by Peter Radford, i.e. Swizz(!)air.
As a real addict of Swissair I'm particularly disappointed about the development.
In fact I have identified Swissair with Switzerland and with absolute reliability.
It turned out that "desire of getting much money" seems to be even more typical than
reliability for some Swiss bankers, politicians etc.
They just don't know how much of the Swiss reputation will be lost
(and has already been lost).
I still hope to get a connection to Zuerich for tomorrow but who knows?
Just a nice detail:
If you call the Qualiflyer travelclub hotline (Qualiflyer was one of the points
which made Swissair so attractive for me) then you will probably have to wait in a queue since
a lot of people try to contact that line.
And during that queueing procedure you hear a voice singing:
"I believe I can fly" (endlessly repeated).
Apparently somebody has had already a feeling about the problems which
we face since a few days!
Best regards
Otto
Further to Karol Fabian's e-mail: there was a report this morning that
Sabena had gone bankrupt too (a result of the Swizzair* problems). I haven't
seen any comments as to whether they are still flying.
Regarding my attendance at the TC6 meeting, I am still hoping to be there;
my travel agents claim to have managed to re-book me on British Airways
flights (I was going to travel on Swizzair).
I'll confirm things when I have the tickets in my hand!
Peter

Dear TC6 colleagues,
my Swissair flights to and from Zurich were cancelled without
substitution and I was not able to find another reasonable connection,
because all nonSwissair flights to/from Zurich are booked already because
of Swissair grounding.
Please check Your flights in order not to be suprised on the airport. So I
have to appologize from the meeting, which I was so near to attend.
Best regards/S pozdravom Karol Fabian
