Wie die meisten bereits schon wissen, möchte das Doktorandennetzwerk der RWTH Aachen - "DoC.NET" deutschen und internationalen Doktorandinnen und Doktoranden ermöglichen, sich über kulturelle und fachliche Grenzen hinaus zu treffen und auszutauschen.

Aufgepasst - neues Programm für Doktoranden/Innen!!!
Ein ganz neues Angebot für Doktorandinnen und Doktoranden ist ein spezielles Betreuungsprogramm "BeBuddy-Programm", das eingerichtet wurde, um Doktoranden/Innen den Einstieg in ihre Promotion an der RWTH und in den Aachener Alltag zu erleichtern. Wir sind bemüht jedem interessierten Doktoranden/In einen erfahrenen deutschen oder internationalen Doktoranden/In möglichst der gleichen Fachrichtung zur Seite zu stellen. Die ersten 20 Anmelder/Innen erhalten Freikarten für Actors Nausea "Metamorphoses" - 16. Juli 2010.

Hello to all PhD students at RWTH Aachen University,
We hope you’re enjoying the wonderful weather here in Germany!
As most of you already know, the purpose of the PhD student network at RWTH Aachen – DoC.NET – is to give German and international PhD students the chance to meet with people from other cultural and scientific backgrounds and exchange ideas.
In order for us to plan activities that better meet your needs, we would like to ask you to participate in a survey. Please indicate in the survey ("my interests") that you would like to meet other PhD students. Just click here:
Attention – a new program for PhD students!!!
There is a brand-new informal mentoring program for PhD students: The “BeBuddy Program” is here to help PhD students get started when they come to the RWTH Aachen to do their PhDs and to make daily life in Aachen a bit easier. We will do our best to match every interested PhD student with an experienced German or international PhD student from the same field or a similar one.
Our first networking event will be an evening at the theater to see the English-language play “Metamorphoses”, put on by the group Actor’s Nausea, on July 16th 2010. The first 20 PhD students to register for the program will receive free tickets!
