Everyday Communication in German  – German Language Course for Women

Who?

This beginner’s level German language course is intended to assist spouses and partners of visiting researchers and doctoral students in becoming acquainted with their new surroundings.

 

What?

Participants will learn basic oral and written communication skills to allow them to carry out basic tasks like exchanging personal information, filling out forms, writing e-mails and letters,

and expressing personal views. Among the topics covered in the course are formal introductions, family, accommodation, eating and drinking, leisure activities, health and travel.

 

Regular attendance is required if participants expect to make significant progress.

 

When?

Grading test: October 25th, 2012, 8.45 a.m. duration app. 60 minutes

Course: Thursdays from 8.45 a.m. - 11.15p.m. (3 lesson hours)

Period of time: October 25th, 2012 - February28th, 2013

 

Where?

Humboldt-Haus, Pontstraße 41, 2nd floor

 

Course costs:

The participation fee for the course is 50 € including costs for childcare for the duration of the course.
