Dear all,

The RDA Interest Group Research Data Management in Engineering is running a free webinar series on Electronic Lab Notebooks and Laboratory Information Management Systems.

Our final webinar in this series will take place  this September 1, 5 p.m. CEST/ 11 a.m. EDT.
We will have two presentations:

Research Data Management with FURTHRmind – Taking Research one Step FURTHR (Daniel Menne, FurthRresearch)
Research data management is essential for the quality of our research, yet we very often observe how rudimentary research data is treated. With our software FURTHRmind, we offer a solution to store and manage data sets including their metadata. This makes the long search for files in complex folder structures a thing of the past. In addition, many working steps can be automated with FURTHRmind, saving time and avoiding errors.

 Labforward (Florian Hauer, Labforward)
Labforward is a Germany-based company that offers software solutions and services to connect hardware, software, and teams in laboratories. Our mission is to support scientists in their quest to make groundbreaking discoveries by providing software solutions that streamline daily work in the lab. The electronic lab notebook Labfolder helps scientists document their experiments and allows them to retrieve their data in seconds. Labregister (part of Labfolder) is a comprehensive inventory manager, which offers you an effective way to prepare experimental procedures by organizing your devices and laboratory consumables. With Laboperator, scientists can design experimental workflows, control laboratory instruments, and automate data collection. Labforward’s solutions can be used individually but they also complement each other to enable the fully digitized lab.
