Liebe Coscine-Nutzende,
wir freuen uns, Ihnen mitteilen zu können, dass sich der Applikationsprofil-Generator in Coscine nun in der Beta-Phase befindet. Diese geht mit neuen Funktionen für Sie einher. Außerdem findet am 15.11.2022 zum zweiten Mal in Folge der Tag der Forschungsdaten statt, an welchem Coscine vorgestellt wird. Seien Sie dabei!
Beta-Version des Applikationsprofil-Generators
Ein großer Fokus in Coscine ist es, dass Ihre Forschungsdaten mit validierten und auf Standards (Ontologien) basierten Metadaten abgespeichert werden. Um diesen Prozess zu erleichtern, sind wir Teil des Projekts "AIMS" (https://www.aims-projekt.de/), in welchem der Applikationsprofil-Generator die Beta-Phase erreicht hat. In dieser Applikation können Sie Ihre eigenen Applikationsprofile erstellen, welche beispielsweise domänenspezifische Anforderungen für Ihre Metadaten enthalten. Eine neue Funktionalität innerhalb der Beta-Version ist die Vererbungsmöglichkeit. Das bedeutet, dass modularen und erweiterbaren Applikationsprofilen nichts mehr im Wege steht.

Coscine am Tag der Forschungsdaten 2022
Am Tag der Forschungsdaten am 15.11.2022 bieten wir Ihnen
eine Coscine-Schulung von 13:00 Uhr bis 14:00 Uhr an. Inhalt der digitalen Schulung wird die
Verwendung von Coscine mit Fokus auf die Einhaltung der FAIR-Prinzipien sein. Die Schulung ist offen für alle interessierten Personen. Die Anmeldung erfolgt via https://rwth.zoom.us/meeting/register/tJwsfu-rrDotHtJPC3hQY7eSzO7VvwYamI5l.

We are pleased to announce that the Application Profile Generator in Coscine is now in the beta phase. This is accompanied by new features for you. Also, for the second year in a row, Research Data Day will be held on 11/15/2022, where Coscine will be featured. Be there!
Beta version of the application profile generator
A big focus in Coscine is to ensure that your research data is stored with validated and on standards (ontologies) based metadata. To simplify this process, we are part
of the "AIMS" project (https://www.aims-projekt.de/),
in which the Application Profile Generator has reached the beta phase. In this application you can create your own application profiles, which contain e.g. domain specific requirements for your metadata. A new functionality within the beta version is the possibility
of inheritance. This means that nothing prevents creating modular and extensible application profiles.

Coscine on Research Data Day 2022
On Research Data Day, Nov. 15, 2022, we will offer a Coscine training session from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The content of the digital training will be the use of Coscine
