the COMPASS team consisting of RWTH Aachen University and Fondazione Bruno Kessler is announcing a new public release of the COMPASS toolset. Version 3.1 is now freely available for download at

http://www.compass-toolset.org/tools-download/

to anyone within the member states of the European Space Agency.

With respect to COMPASS version 3.0, this release contains an updated version of the xSAP engine and includes several bug fixes both in the software and the accompanying documentation.
