Dear All,
I tried to run MATLAB using a script, but it delivered an error. Can anyone tell me if MATLAB is already preinstalled? If it is preinstalled, what are the commands to load the corresponding modules?
Thanks for your help and best regards,
Georg
Dear Georg,
MATLAB is available in multiple versions via our modules system. You may load the default version by entering
$ module load MISC; module load matlab
in your terminal. You can find all available versions by entering
$ module avail
If you want to load a specific version, you may append it to the module name upon loading like this: matlab/2018b Please also have a look at the "Installed Software" page on our documentation portal to find all available software and their respective categories (MISC, TECHNICS, CHEMISTRY etc.) and the matlab usage page in particular:
https://doc.itc.rwth-aachen.de/display/CC/Installed+Software https://doc.itc.rwth-aachen.de/display/CC/matlab
Best, Sven
