DISCOVER ALL THE LATEST TRENDS AT THE SHORT FILM CORNER

Launched with great success in May 2004 as an extension of the activities initiated by the Festival de Cannes to support young creation, the Short Film Corner is a market that is entirely devoted to short films.

It is located on level 01 of the Palais des Festivals, in an area that is twice as large as last year.

Interactive screens allow you to select the films and talent that interest you (cross referencing of criteria) and to watch them. The programmes proposed by distributors and agencies will be screened in a theatre.

The unique meeting place enables new bridges to be built linking short films to features.

ICC CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO NEW FINANCING SOURCES

Hosted by the Marché du Film, the 19^th Conference of International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) will be held the 12 and 13 May.

The subject will be "Money Matters for Movie Making": new sources for co-production financing and other current issues affecting film producers & media companies, with a special focus on the opportunities presented by the enlargement of the European Union.

This conference will provide the opportunity for corporate counsel and lawyers specialized in entertainment, law to exchange practical views with actors from the film industry, and business executives in finance and insurance.

AUTOMATIC TRANSFER OF A CONTACT DETAILS AND SCREENINGS INTO OUTLOOK

To add a screening into your Outlook Calendar from the "Films" or "Screening" pages, click on the small thumbnail Outlook  to the left of the film chosen. The window "Download a File" opens. Select "Open". The Outlook page "Appointments" opens. You then simply have to lick on "Save and Exit" and it’s done!

Use the same process to add a Contact to your Outlook from the "Companies" page of the database. First of all select the company you are interested in. On the presentation page of the company, click on the Outlook  thumbnail to the right of each contact.
