The Short Film Corner is a new market entirely dedicated to short films.
An overall panorama of short films today : In 2004, the Short Film Corner
presented some 450 films, representing over 100 hours of programs,
from 40 different countries. Films were viewed more than 5 000 times by buyers
and film selectors from all over the world. More than one hundred films
were screened as world premieres.

1) ORINDA FILM FESTIVAL:  September 22-25, 2005

The Orinda Film Festival supports films from around the world that inspire, educate,
challenge, and provoke audiences to explore other viewpoints and forms of expression.
It offers a wide range of categories, including narrative features and shorts, documentaries,
animation, experimental films, and music videos.

2) NEW YORK CITY HORROR FILM FESTIVAL (NYCHFF) October 18 - 23, 2005
Once again, The USA's premiere horror film festival will be held at the prestigious Tribeca
Film Center in lower Manhattan. With special screenings, parties, celebrity guests
and each year's prestigious lifetime achievement award, this is the genre festival not to be missed.

3) RED BANK FILM FESTIVAL October 14-16, 2005
Red Bank  The Jersey Shore town that local filmmaker Kevin Smith made famous
is set to host the 5th Annual Red Bank International film Festival.  With one of its main sites
being the historic Count Basie Theatre - a venue with over 1,000 seats,
the festival is a thrilling showcase for any film.

4) CineVegas Film Festival is accepting entries for independent films, shorts, and documentaries until April 8.
Celebrating 100 years of Vegas and 100 years of film, the festival will be held June 10-18
at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.  World premiere films, high-profile tributes,
and Vegas nightlife will all be part of the excitement.
