This year Screen is teaming with the UK Film Council’s New Cinema Fund to create a unique digital event. Alongside an exciting mix of presentations and panels, we will be staging a short film competition, with live voting both within the conference and streamed over Screendaily.com! 'Richard Jobson, Martin Percy and Carol Morley are all confirmed to take part'.

Cinema Next is Screen International’s latest agenda-setting conference. As the name implies, we believe that the film business will look and behave quite differently in this new digitally-enabled sphere. The demand for well-crafted cinematic entertainment will always be there; how content providers should best feed that appetite has become the multi-billion dollar question.

Speakers confirmed include:
Richard Jobson, Writer/Director/Producer, Vestry Films
Thomas Hoegh, CEO, Arts Alliance Media
Nik Powell, Director, National Film and Television School
Ira Deutchman , President and CEO, Emerging Pictures
Lisa MacDonald, Controller of Acquisitions for Pay and Pay Per View, BskyB
Carter Pilcher, CEO, Shorts International
