MEET THE 18 FILMMAKERS OF THE ATELIER DU FESTIVAL

l’Atelier du Festival is a new programme launched by the CINEFONDATION to accompany and support young talented filmmakers find international production and distribution solutions.

For its first year, l’Atelier du Festival is pleased to present its Livre Des Projets which details the projects of the 18 filmmakers it has selected on the basis of the quality of the films they have already made, and the state of advancement of the finance plan. You can arrange to meet the filmmakers in Cannes to discuss any of the projects that interest you.

Make an appointment today by returning the Appointment Request Form before April 22nd (by fax on +33 (0)1 53 59 61 10, or by mail to latelierdufestival@festival-cannes.fr).

SEND YOUR NEWS TO SCREENMEDIA.BIZ

One of the Marché du Film’s new partners, SCREENMEDIA.BIZ will be taking care of the News pages of CANNESMARKET NEWS for the first time this year. This is the official newspaper of the Marché and is available everyday in Cannes from 4pm.

If you want to announce your news to Cannes, present your projects, new initiatives, contracts signed, etc. you can already start sending your news items to SCREENMEDIA.BIZ from now until the end of the Festival by using the following address: cannes05@screenmedia.biz.

NEW : DOWNLOAD THE COMPLETE LIST OF BUYERS ATTENDING THE MARCHE DU FILM 2005

The list of buyers by country is already available for consultation on our database. We have made the changes you requested following our survey in 2004: this year you are now able to download a PDF file of all the buyers.

The companies are listed in alphabetical order. The online information details the entries by job title and permanent contact numbers, their contact details in Cannes and the types of film that interest them. The database is regularly updated, both before and during the Festival. The updates can be downloaded from the database on the “My lists” page in “My Home”. Industry professionals are thus able to be kept up to date in real time of any new buyers that register and where they can be contacted in Cannes. (a checked box means that the contact has arrived in Cannes).

During the Marché du Film, three printed editions of the catalogue of buyers will be made available on the 12^th, 14^th and 16^th May for Riviera, Palais des Festivals, Majestic, Carlton and Noga exhibitors.
