An Indonesian film, Love for Share (French title: Partage to Mari) will be screened in Cannes’ Marche du Film, supported by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.  Kalyana Shira Films, the Indonesian production company, together with the producers and the director (Nia Dinata) invite friends and buyers from around the world to view this critically acclaimed Indonesian film that has a rare open-minded look at polygamy.  Screening dates are:
Friday, May 19th and Monday, May 22nd
Both at 4 pm, Le Palais, salle F.

Synopsis: Polygamy, although commonly practice within the predominantly Moslem Indonesian society, is not openly acknowledged.  This film is breaking the social ground by tackling the lives of three different women, from three different socio-economic backgrounds, conveying their honest passages in dealing with polygamy in their domestic lives.

Love for Share was select for competition in International Narrative section at Tribeca Film Festival, New York, in April 2006.

The three main actresses will be in Cannes together with the producers and directors to promote the film.
