1ST MOBILE FILM FESTIVAL 2006 January 3rd to 15th
Mobilevent presents the 1st edition of the Mobile Film Festival, the first ever online
festival of one minute short films, filmed only with mobile phones and open to the general public.
Applicants have until December 20th to send in their proposal.

The Federation of Commercial Audiovisual Libraries is a not for profit trade organization
representing footage archives, researchers, consultants and ancillary facilities serving
the footage industry worldwide. The FOCAL International Awards is an annual event
to celebrate the use of footage archive images in the creative media.
Submissions are now invited, free of charge, in 15 Award categories.

Japan’s best festival for short films, is now accepting submissions for its 2006 competition.
Filmmaker friendly, no entry fee, each year several filmmakers are invited roundtrip to Tokyo.
Academy Awards ® accredited festival. International deadline is November 1st,
National and Asian deadline is December 20th, 2005.

) THE PALM BEACH INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL:  April 20-27, 2006
The Palm Beach International Film Festival is a 501(3)(c) not for profit organization
supporting film programs in local schools and dedicated to making a difference in the
lives of future filmmakers by helping them fulfill their dreams to one-day work in the
world of film. Proceeds generated each year are donated to schools, in the form of
grants and scholarships, to provide new technologies.

The Oporto International Film Festival, now going to its 26th edition, specializes in fantasy
