Co-produced by Screen International and the Centre for Creative Business, Screening the Future: Remodeling the Business of Film Distribution is a one-day symposium that will deconstruct emergent models for digital and non-theatrical film distribution and marketing.

Located at the world famous London Business School in Regent’s Park, this unique, hands-on event will gather delegates from across the movie value chain.

A series of morning plenary sessions delivered by the leading studios, independent distributors, high street and online retailers, and visionary minds in the film industry will set the scene. The afternoon will then comprise case-study based workshops and breakout sessions, giving delegates the opportunity to learn about, question, apply, develop and take away new business models in film distribution.

Providing constructive solutions to areas of industry uncertainty, Screening the Future will focus on:

  • How to form, validate and execute new models for film distribution
  • Patterns of film consumption in broadband enabled communities
  • Effective movie marketing campaigns in the digital domain
  • How the industry can, and must, prepare for the digitization of film

Who should attend?
Both studio-owned and independent film distributors, producers and executive producers from across the industry, entertainment retailers, film financiers, venture capitalists, consulting, accounting and legal services, and everyone interested in the future face of film.

The Screening the Future programme will give delegates insight into the industry at large and provide tools to quantify and implement successful strategies and enable more informed investment decisions to be made - for full programme details and to register click on this link: www.screendaily.com/screeningthefuture
